Bass Fishing Vacation Packages
Our All Inclusive Packages
Our fishing season at Lake Mateos runs October through June. Your fishing package is typically scheduled to arrive on Wednesday and depart on Sunday. When those dates are full we add Sunday arrivals with Thursday departures. We are however in the people business, so if these days of the week don’t work for you let’s discuss what will fit your schedule.
Bass Sport Package
Your fishing vacation includes: 3 days of guided fishing, 4 night’s comfortable lodging (based on double occupancy), 4 full American/Mexican breakfasts, 3 amazing lunches, 4 delicious dinners, transportation to and from Culiacan International Airport, fishing license, guides, boats and fuel, daily maid service and beverages to include water, beer, margaritas and soft drinks. Cost is $1,499.00 per person, plus gratuities.
Bass Ultimate Package
Your fishing vacation includes: 6 days of guided fishing, 7 night’s comfortable lodging (based on double occupancy), 7 full American/Mexican breakfasts, 6 amazing lunches, 7 delicious dinners, transportation to and from Culiacan International Airport, fishing license, guides, boats and fuel, daily maid service and beverages to include water, beer, margaritas and soft drinks. Cost is $2,299.00 per person, plus gratuities.
Please bring your own reels and tackle. We supply quality rods. We do have a limited supply of tackle for purchase. We do not have reels for purchase, therefore bring your own, plus an extra. Your package does not include: airfare, tackle, reels, personal laundry and gratuities.

Gratuities
Boat Guides
We recommend Boat Guides receive a minimum of $20.00 per boat, per day. It is better to tip guides at the landing on the last day, than to tip daily as you’ll normally be fishing with the same guide all week. Boat Guides are always paid directly.
Camp Staff
We suggest 5% of the cost of your vacation for camp staff. You can now add Camp Staff gratuities at time of reservation. We’ll calculate 5% of your package cost for Camp Staff gratuities and add this amount to your package. (Note: This does not include Boat Guides.) You’ll know the money has been distributed as intended and allows you to carry less money with you when traveling. Or, you can pay the suggested 5% directly to our Camp Manager on the last day of your stay. The Camp Manager will distribute evenly among the staff and include himself when dividing the monies. Of course when exceptional service is received additional gratuities to individuals is very much appreciated.
Extra Day of Fishing
An extra day of fishing that includes an extra night of lodging and meals is $450.00. A half day of extra fishing is $250.00.
Deposit
At time of reservation, a 50% deposit is required within 10 days. The remaining amount due is payable 60 days prior to arrival. If reservation confirmed within 60 days of arrival, payment in full is required.
Families
We love families and enjoy having Camp Manager Bennie’s family involved in our operation as well as our own family. If you want to bring your children with you, please feel free to do so. We recommend they be of fishing age and have some fishing experience. Family rates are available call for details.
Corporate Packages
Need a corporate get away for a job well done? We are professional and seasoned in dealing with the corporate world and groups in particular. We can arrange group transportation and tailor the package to fit the needs of those traveling. Just let Lynn or JC our Reservations Specialist know your specific needs and she can roll with it. Having spent 20 years in the hospitality business she is well rounded in understanding your needs and making what you want happen.
Bird Watching in Mexico
Mexico is habitat to eagles, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, macaws, parrots, vultures, toucans, and quetzals. Few places in Mexico are without our feathered friends, though some places are particularly good for bird-watching and Lake Mateos offers excellent birding. We won’t race from place to place in a minibus with the sole purpose of accumulating long lists of birds, but we will send you on to the water with a guide so you can spend as much time as you can searching for birds and other wildlife. We’ve also added bird feeders and cozy seating areas outside so you can sit and commune with our featured friends. Just call Lynn or JC and let us know you’re interested in bird watching and she’ll tailor a package just for you.
