A bit about Lake Mateos Bass Lodge:
Located on Lake Mateos, it opened in Oct 2007. The lodge is located in the beautiful Sierra Madres Mountains in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. The Bass Fishing is world class and offering the finest lodging, food and guiding services for your fishing adventure.
A bit about the owners:
I myself am a lifetime avid Bass fisherman. Lynn and I will settle for nothing less than the best Bass fishing experience we can provide for you. We also will be hosting fishing tournaments, as well as family events. As Americans we strongly feel our employees should be paid a fair wage, and should satisfy the work that they do. Also a portion of the money is going right back into the camp, its workers, and in helping the local government stock and protect Lake Mateos. Our goal is to provide you with the very best bass fishing trip of a lifetime that we can.

Some Personal History
Together, J.C. and Lynn Galloway began the journey of making a life-long dream of an avid Largemouth Bass Fisherman come true. In December 2006 this dream became a reality. We are proud to announce that we manage The Lake Mateos Bass Lodge on Lake Mateos, and Campo Buena Vista on Lake Huites. Both fantastic Lodges are located on two of the premier largemouth bass fishing lakes in the world and are located in the beautiful Sierra Madres Mountains in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. Lake Mateos opened October 1st, 2007 and we continue to offer the finest in lodging, food, equipment and guide services available. Campo Buena Vista on Lake Huites will open in November of 2009 with all new furnishings, boats and motors. This camp will fill up fast and advance registration would be wise.
As I myself am a lifetime avid Bass fisherman Lynn and I will settle for nothing less than the best Bass fishing experience we can provide you with. We also will be hosting fishing tournaments, as well as father/son, father/daughter, mother/son, mother/daughter events. Our new prices do reflect a slight change for the following reasons. First, as everyone knows the price of fuel, supplies, and insurance has gone up. Also, we are making many improvements to the camp it's self. Some of these for safety and others for your comfort. As Americans we strongly feel our employees should be paid a fair wage not worked on the least they can get by on. The price increases we have made are going right back into the camp, it's workers, and in helping the local government stock and protect Lake Mateos. Furthermore, even with this increase we are still about 1/3 less expensive then the other camp located on this lake. Our goal is to provide you with the very best bass fishing trip of a lifetime that we can.
